Born and raised in Matador, Texas and residing in Turkey, Texas for the past thirty years is what gives Koree Price the knowledge she needs to be a great agent for all of your farm and ranch needs. Though she has only had her license for a short time she is very excited to begin her career helping people find their perfect property.

Koree’s knowledge of ranching begins with the fact that her great, great grandfather was one of the original founders of the famous Matador Ranch in Matador, Texas. Her grandad was a rancher and her dad has farmed and ranched his whole life. She married a farmer and moved to Turkey where they began building their family farm and raising their three children thirty years ago.

Koree and her husband, Stacy, also owned a small calf ranch for seven years where they spent many Christmas mornings bottle feeding two to three hundred baby calves with the help of their three children. So, everyone who knows her will tell you work is something Koree is not afraid of and her experience in farming and ranching is her whole life.

While raising their children, she was very active in their extracurricular activities serving as a sponsor on many FFA trips, preparing meals for the sports teams and assisting with UIL events.

There are many attractions in and around Turkey. It is the home of Bob Wills, the King of Western Swing, and the beautiful Historic Hotel Turkey, which has been in operation for over 100 years and become a hub for local musicians on the weekends. Hotel Turkey, along with the community all do their part to keep the memory of the Late Bob Wills alive.

Lacy Dry Goods, a fifth generation mercantile, serves as the local boutique and brings in customers from all over the state to buy their boots and hats. Another famous attraction is the Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway.  It is located just 12 miles west of Turkey along the eastern edge of The Llano Estacado in Briscoe County, Texas. It is the third largest state park in Texas.
